The ONS doesn't publish census data directly for Combined Authorities. The figures on this page are aggregated
from census areas contained within West Midlands. They may not, therefore, be precisely accurate. Age-standardised
statistics and population density are not available for aggregated datasets.
This dataset provides Census 2021 estimates that classify households in England and Wales by the diversity in ethnic group of household members in different relationships. The estimates are as at Census Day, 21 March 2021.
Summary
Classifies households by whether members identify as having the same or different ethnic groups.
If multiple ethnic groups are present, this identifies whether they differ between generations or partnerships within the household.

One-person household
344,201

These values are calculated by adding up the values for census output areas contained within West Midlands.
They may, therefore, be slightly inaccurate due to administrative boundaries not precisely aligning with census boundaries.
